For many years Azexis has been disappointed with the editing environment offered by third party Content Management Solutions. As designers, and keen content creators, we disliked not being able to see the page layout as we typed. Often our beautifully written copy ended up with orphans or widows scattered across the page. WYSIWYG really wasn't living up to its name, so we decided enough was enough and began our journey to true in-line editing - Evance CMS 3.
Evance CMS 3 was built from the ground up. Yes, we really threw away our old code and started from scratch to achieve true in-line WYSIWYG editing. When we say WYSIWYG it really is - managing your content has never been easier. In fact, content editing within Evance is now so slick it makes the preview button a little redundant.
We hate pop-ups, probably as much as you do. Often we've found that WYSIWYG pretenders offer a preview, but even editing text is done within a pop-up. That's such a tease, and rather annoying. We really wanted Evance to offer an immersive environment for content writers even across multiple editable regions on a single page without having to open a pop-up for each content block.
Every aspect of Evance CMS 3 has been developed with each type of user in mind. The immersive WYSIWYG editor is only the surface of Evance's powerful underlying technology. Even our own designers are amazed just how easy creating their templates is. As if that wasn't enough designers can easily define CSS styles for use within the editor, in a way that they're used to.
Having searched relentlessly for similar products, we've not found another immersive WYSIWYG editing environment like Evance CMS 3. Many are close, but we know this places Evance as a world leader in CMS technology, but it's only the beginning. With numerous improvements already planned Evance will continue to harness the very latest in web technology to deliver an outstanding user interface for content creators.
