Richmond Borough Mind is the branch of the Mind charity for Richmond in Surrey. The RBMind website is a resource that can be used by members of the community in need or by members of the community who want to provide help.
The website had to meet with the very strict guidelines set down by the Mind charity about branding and usability. The key focus was to ensure that the website accommodated people with disabilities or impairments. All of the website was required to be content managed. In addition to standard content management the website required a news and events feature, a calendar events feature and the ability to take donations online.
The straightforward design of the website means that users can find what they need easily and not only can the text size be altered but using integration with Google Translate the website can be translated into many different foreign languages. The content management system allows RBMind to keep the website up to date with news and events.

The bright, colourful and attractive RBMind website helped raise awareness of the facilities and services that RBMind offers to the local community and encourages participation in RBMind events. The website is a resounding success at raising awareness of mental health issues for anyone who accesses the website.
